FSEC Energy Research Center or Florida Solars Energy Center or FSEC is the leading and premier energy research center. It was created by the Florida Legislature in 1975. It was started with an ambition to test and certify solar systems.
FSEC
is managed by the University of Central Florida. FSEC has been
conducting extensive research since its inception. As the years passed,
the institute became more capable and Florida Solar Energy Center slowly
outgrew its solar name.
Now,
the center is rebranding and making it FSEC Energy Research Center, at
the University of Central Florida. This has enhanced the efficiency of
the institute and now it will be able to conduct many more fine and
accurate researches and studies.
Though
the energy research programs and projects keep changing with time, if
you want to understand and know the mission of Florida Solars energy
center, then it remains the same which is: to research and develop
energy technologies so that it can result in the augmentation of the
economy of Florida and the entire nation. They also aim to educate the
public, students, and practitioners by providing accurate results after a
deep research work.
FSEC
Energy Research Center has been working for the past 40 years. They
have a rich experience in creating renewable energy systems and studying
science. It has seventy members including learned and experienced
industry professionals who are superbly skilled in various domains such
as engineering, energy research, science, policy analysis, education,
training, and many more.
All
the studies and researches happening at the FSEC Energy Research Center
work on the principle of field monitoring, computer simulations, and
controlled experiments in well-mannered laboratories. FSEC’s researches
are recognized nationally and internationally.
